We are located in Mesa Arizona, which is a suburb of Phoenix, we have great flying weather all year long and welcome all visitors and spectators. Mesa city parks Department has issued a permit to SRCHA for R/C Helicopter flying at the retention basins on Elliot between Ellsworth and Signal Butte Rd.'s Basin 114. 

Although this site is available seven days a week the majority of our club meets on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Anyone wishing to fly at this site must follow the rules as stated by Mesa city parks Dept:

1. Pilots must have some form of liability insurance equal to or greater than $2.5 million.  AMA Insurance

2. Pilots must obtain a permit from Mesa city parks or join a club with a permit. (Like SRCHA)

3. Flying is only permitted in Basin 114. (helicopters only).

4. No flying is permitted if the field is currently in use.

5. The field must be kept clean.
